I was relieved to find the Medication Knowledge For Safety website and to have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with a true medical professional. During this session, I learned what each of dad's prescriptions does for him and got some important questions answered. Armed with a better understanding of his medications, the dosages, and the importance of providing accurate, clear information to his medical providers, I feel better-prepared to help my dad continue to enjoy a safe, healthy, satisfying life at home...D.H.
I met with Dr. Young through Zoom to discuss my mother's medications after she came to live with us temporarily. Dr. Young was extremely patient and very knowledgeable. He explained the purpose of all of her medications (of which there are many) and also let us know of any possible interactions and side effects to keep an eye on . It was wonderful talking with Dr. Young virtually in a less hurried situation than a doctor's office...B.G
